Faculty-Led Programs

A Faculty-Led program is the opportunity to move the classroom learning experience to the direct source of observation or place where reality challenges the group’s pedagogy, principles, thought process.  Our faculty programs extend up to as many days as the group requires to achieve their learning  outcomes. It takes the form of a study trip, where Analogic Abroad organizes welcome protocols to the country of destination, cultural and service orientation, logistics of the trip, academic connections in the field with local resources, safety and health support through Analogic Abroad professionals, and insurance options when required. The group is provided with 24/7 contact with Analogic’s staff while in the country.

Analogic Abroad’s Faculty-Led Programs can take place in any region within Chilean territory, including Chiloé and Easter Island. The Faculty model can also be extended to Chile’s neighboring countries in a double site model, such as Chile and Argentina, Chile and Peru or Chile and Bolivia.

The maximum time extension in a Faculty program can be up 12 weeks, starting at any time of the year. There will always be at least one Analogic staff member to accompany the group. If the group is bigger than thirty students, the staff will include a second member.

The organization, design, planning and operational agreement is organized in online communication sessions, as often as required, to anticipate all program elements desired by the professors.

In the case that Faculty-Led programs require a deeper academic design, Analogic Abroad works with local academic resources from  Analogic’s extensive university network that includes Universidad de Chile, Universidad Católica, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Universidad Federico Santa María, Universidad Diego Portales, Universidad Católica del Norte and Universidad  de La Serena.
